Me and Victor went out and on the way we saw a car with antlers attached to either side. I wish I'd brought the camera.
We wound up at Dairy Queen and I got a double chocolate brownie batter blizzard. Which is odd since I always get the reese's. Anyway, it was good. If it had peanut butter in it it would be exquisite.
Today's dinner is chicken penne with broccoli.
Penne (as much as is needed, I have no set measurement, roughly about a cup and a half I'd say, maybe for two people, maybe a little more or less dunno)
Can of Chicken
5 tbsp Olive Oil
Chopped Garlic (or minced or what have you)
Broccoli
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
You get the penne started in some water, and then while that's cooking you put 3 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan and dump in the chicken and spices. You cook the chicken on medium. I like to use a fork on the chicken so I can shred it up as it's cooking by pushing the fork down on them (like you do when pressing the top of cookies). Once the penne's done strain out the water and leave in the strainer. Reuse the pan for steaming the broccoli. You put a cup of chicken broth in, the spices again, and the chopped garlic, as well as the broccoli. You steam that for about 5 minutes, checking it to see when the broccoli's as soft as you want it to be. Then you pour the broccoli and whatever broth is left over the penne. During all this don't forget to stir the chicken and turn the heat down as needed, because after a bit the chicken starts looking a bit done. You can turn the heat off entirely if you want too. Then you put everything together in the first pan and pour two more tbsp of olive oil over that. Mix it all up and let sit for about 5 minutes or so. Then put on plates and put parmesan on it. Not too much or it'll get dry. Stir that in and eat. This is one of my most favorite meals.
And speaking of this meal, it's about done sitting so I'm going to go warm it up a tad and then serve it and eat.
