This morning as I was waking up Bonecrusher did his usual morning greet and climbed over us, settling in once or twice to purr and demand being petted. That is until he discovered Victor was shirtless and suddenly Victor jumped, saying, "That's not going to give you milk!" So I picked Bonecrusher up and moved him away as Victor pulled the blankets over himself. ROTFL Poor kitten. He keeps doing these baby kitty who was taken from his mother too early things. He's tried to nurse on Victor's nose before, too, lol. And last night he curled up on my neck and put his paws on my face. We might get him some kitten milk.
This is the stay-stitching on the back neck of my tunic. You see why it takes me so long to make anything. It's not that the actual process is time-consuming, it's that I'm lazy. I did eventually get the back and front put together but I still need to press the seam. Of course I forgot I had meant to flat fell the seam and I instead serged it, which is ok too. After I press the seam I'll take a picture of that.
Oh, I was showering and I dropped my shaver. As I picked it up my thumb touched the sharp edge. I didn't know if I had cut myself or not, but I figured I'd see blood in a little bit if I did, or perhaps it was a slight cut and it didn't open the skin but using the thumb would. So I continued on with my shower, keeping my left thumb out of the way, and after a bit it did start to hurt and feel achy in the spot I had touched the edge with, like a grating sensation. And then I dropped the shaver again and bent to pick it up again and this time I realized something. The first time I had picked up the shaver I did so with my right hand, which meant I had cut my right thumb.... After I realized this my left thumb stopped hurting and my right one started up. Pretending + Insanity = Psychosomatic. But that's what I mean, think like you'll live till 100 and you'll get a lot further than if you go through life telling yourself you're going to die by 70. Though now everytime I get a headache Victor asks me, "Which thumb hurts?" -_-
