My desk isn't the only one Bonecrusher camps out on.
This is the black meshy fabric I will use for my vest. I have it hanging on my clothesline to dry. My clothesline is hung up around the edge of the porch.
And this is the suede I will use for my tunic.
My left arm was in a lot of pain after this truck, in my neck on down through the upper arm.
Then deli/frozen showed up at 7:15 and I couldn't offload cause there weren't any keys in the store. Zhaun had left (he often runs home in the early morning) and Bret, who normally shows up at 7, still hadn't entered the store at 7:45 so I asked his live-in GF, Patty, and she said it was Bret's day off but he might come in anyway. Around 8 Zhaun came back and we got started on the truck.
After the truck I noticed the garbage was full so I emptied that, since it was so full it was overflowing onto the floor. No one had locked the clippie on the compactor.
Sometime after that my right shoulder started to feel tight.
I was doing my markdowns, which I do at one side of the egg case where I have my bin. I have 6 facings of large dozen eggs and I was standing in front of 2 of these. Instead of doing the polite thing and taking a dozen eggs from the one farthest from me he decided to lean close and take from one of the ones in front of me. I hate when people do that. Give me my space! You don't have to be rude.
I went to do my scanouts and noticed the clip on the compactor was gone entirely and I couldn't find it. Bonnie will have a fit about that tomorrow.
I was doing my order and someone reached their arm around me to get to some juice. Thanks.
Then while I was still doing my order someone started to reach for some coffee mate above my head but I noticed them in time to jump up and spring away before they invaded my space too horribly.
With nothing much to do for 2 1/2 hours as most everything was already done my night person came in. Great! Apparently he had whined to mommy who fixed his schedule and got him extra hours. But this left me with not a lot to do. I poked around, filled some stuff, did some mark downs, printed a tag, washed some shelves, etc. I just wonder what I'm going to spend tomorrow doing.
Oh, and our new Wall Deli Manager, who starts on Sunday, is, to no one's surprise, Darby. If this is so I'm calling the ethics hotline on Monday. You do not leave 1,500 dollars of expired product in one section of your department (the wall deli is broke into two departments and I only track one of them) and then a year later come back to that same position. If I had left that much I would be lucky if I could step foot in the store let alone get my old position back. It's her family's favoritism again.
My right knee really started to bother me about an hour or so before I left so I took a bath when I got home. It was nice. Bonecrusher discovered that I was laying in water and gave me this super sad look like I was dying or something and gave a pitiful meow. It was heartbreaking. I explained to him that mommy likes laying in water. Oh, he's like my little son. All day I kept wanting to call Victor and ask how Boney was doing.
