This is something or other that I got in the pipe section, and it will sit right below the emitter on my lightsaber. Also, I think it's funny how this angle singles out one lone fingernail and makes it look long.
I messed up a shoulder seam on my tunic. Somehow the fabric bit my serger cuts off and deposits to the side got sucked into the seam so it was thick and weird. I ripped it and cut that off and now all I need is to resew that shoulder seam.
Cats
Came home from work today and as usual I picked Bonecrusher up. A lot of the time he'll climb onto my shoulder a bit so he's looking behind me with his back paws on my hand. Today he climbed all the way around and started to climb down my arm. So I lifted my arm up to balance him and he went right out and laid down, purring away.
Hair
These were taken out and about in town. This is how I did my hair yesterday. I started with a waterfall (sometimes called fairytale) braid on either side and then at the back I took the two loose strands on either side and combined them into a braid. I then ponytailed all my hair, making sure the brushed back parts didn't cover the waterfall braid. I took out the little braid since the hair tie held it all in place. Then I made a nautilus bun, but being so far down on my head it didn't look or feel right so I secured it a bit higher using my sticks. (which are really just bamboo skewers I cut to size, but Emily tells me Clares has actual sticks so I must check that out sometime) I meant for them to line up with the waterfall braid but I guess that didn't quite happen, lol.
Food
I made pizza today.
Crust:
1 Package Yeast
1 tsp Sugar
1 cup Warm Water (110°)
2 1/2 cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tsp Oregano
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
You mix the yeast, sugar, and water and then wait ten minutes. While waiting I put the spices (all except the garlic) into 1 2/3 tbsp olive oil. And then after the ten minutes are up you put in the flour, salt, and olive oil/spice mixture. Stir until smooth then let sit five minutes. While waiting I put the garlic into 1/3 tbsp olive oil. After the five minutes are up put the dough onto the pan. I use my hands to push it into shape. Then I brush the garlic/olive oil across the surface.
Then top with whatever toppings you want, here's a list of what I use though:
Tomato Sauce
Garlic
Fennel Seed
Parmesan (we use the powdered shaker can thing)
Shredded Mozzerella
Shredded Cheddar/Monteray Jack
Italian Sausage
I only sprinkle a little of the cheddar/mj mix. And for the italian sausage I squeeze the meat out of the slimy tubes and cook it a little first.
Bake at 450° for 15-20 minutes.
Work
I forgot that on Thursday when everyone was freaking out I was going out to the bathroom an hour after I'd gotten to work and Julie saw me and stopped me to ask what I was doing, was I going on break? I told her and she let me go. Then as I was leaving the bathroom she comes up and goes in. That's too convenient. I think she was checking to see if I was lying.
Today I datechecked Darby's markdowns like I've been doing and I found nearly a case of biscuits that had expired on the 1st that she had marked down. So I pulled them and showed Julie. She said to put a note in it for her saying not to do that. I started to write it but she told me not to that she'd do it so Darby wouldn't get mad at me. Good thinking there. Don't want that family after me more than they already are. She wrote "Darby, you can't mark down out of code product going forward". Can't wait to tell Bonnie.
