Hunting from my porch

Today I worked 7-3. As I was leaving the house I heard noise in the field across from the house and saw something biggish moving around, and at first I thought it was a dog or something. We've had coyote problems in the past. (Victor and one or two of the neighbors cleared that up pretty nicely.) But once I got around the cars to take a closer look there were three deer, two of them were clearly flying white tails. They seemed rather friendly, having let me get half-way across the little gravel road to the field, and them being close to the fence. So I thought it would be funny to say to them, "You guys know it's hunting season, right?" Actually, that field with all the houses around was probably the safest place for them!

Work:
When I got to work I saw that they had painted some more. Ok, take a square. 3/4 of the east wall is yellow, with the north-east corner being blue. The same 1/4 of the north wall is blue with, oh, I'd say almost the rest of the entire north wall is yellow. The west wall is brown to nearly the end (another 3/4 I guess?), with the last bit being orange up around and half-way down the south wall till it meets up with yellow again. The bakery's walls are tiled yellow. Service Deli still has the pastel multicolors on one center wall, and the outlier walls of the dept are the same yellow tiles as bakery. I peeked in the new floral and there's green shelves the same color as meat dept.'s shelves. Add in our bright red shirts and the reddish-brown floor I believe is the final color. And I'm more or less at a loss for words as to how horrible this is. And the head guy in charge of the remodel says this is THE color scheme for stores in the south and it works for them. I don't know how, because they're making us into a joke.

I had so many people ask where things are. And the only thing I could tell hardly any of them with any confidence is if it was on the east or the west of the freezers.

One old guy, while I was facing dairy, asked where frozen orange juice was.
Me, "In the freezer section." *pointing*
Him, "Where?"
Me, "Frozen." *still pointing*
Him, "Which one?"
Me, "Aisle 12, I believe."
Him, "???"
Me, "The signs. Hanging from the ceilings. Have numbers. The one with the 12 on it."
So was he old or was he stupid? A little of both, perhaps. Still, I prefer dealing with old people, I don't so much like the night crowd.

Someone put half gallons in with the gallons forcing me to go all the way around to the front to fix. I hate that.

I was able to wash some milk shelves today, I haven't had time to do that in nearly a month because when I'm the only one on Sunday I just don't have time. Today I knew I had Joe 3-10 and that whatever I didn't do he would. So I had plenty of time to do that. I wash them in bakery's sink, so I grabbed some buckets. One's for me, for that bag of flour I bought a little bit ago. The rest go to my mom, I only got 4 more.

Video Games:
Wii Sports Resort is a lot of fun!!! Cycling is pretty tiring and not so fun. But the rest is nice. I figured out the trick to sword fighting and was beating Victor over and over and over and over within seconds. Basically I button mashed till I found a combo that worked. He played single player for a bit after that to figure it out, so now the next time we play it'll be more even.

Cats:
Boney flopped down on my wrists so I guess it's time for me to go now.
