Bad Kitty

Woke up with a sore throat. ugh. I have a fever and I'm cold. Earlier I jumped between wanting to throw up and being hungry. Victor has it a little too. A few people at work had it/have it. Excellent timing!

We ended up wrapping foil around the base of the tree and the stems of the bottom layer of branches. So far it seems to be working. It worked to keep Atton out of our tree when he was a kitten too.

Edit: He went up the tree again. Victor's spraying Bitter Yuck on the tree now. We'll see if that works.

Work:

They're still working on resetting dairy, but it's falling into place. It's actually not bad. There's not a lot I'll have to fix later. We're not allowed to fix anything until they leave. We have corporate coming on Friday and they'll be here till Wednesday. I had to explain to Bret why I was out of the Kroger yogurts. It's because over the weekend I was bought out. I sold 28 in one day on one of the flavors that I normally only sell 5 a day on. He said I have to expect that with first of the month, they do this every month. I said no, actually it's always the 

Yoplait, not the Kroger. He took that. Problem is they're 3/1.00 right now so what little I had leftover to face it over with was sold out.

We got a few pallets of grocery in as a balance this morning and the rest showed up around 1:00. It took till 1:45 to clear up the backroom enough to get it in. And deli/frozen pulled up around the same time. I didn't have to do anything but get the backroom cleaned up, I made Dan offload the truck. Or rather Bret told me to make Dan do it. Good. Steve was supposed to help but no one knew where he was. He was on break at 1 when I was talking to Bret and Zhaun and I didn't see him the rest of my shift and I left at 2:19. Course someone made the dump bins disappear so maybe he was around and I didn't see him.

I hear I ran out of large dozen eggs yesterday, which could not possibly be because this morning there were about 10 cases in the cooler. Unless Dustin lied knowing I would need them today. That's possible.

I have a lot of coffee mate holes because they're new items and not active yet or something. And the yogurt that's discontinued I still need to resubmit. I might get in trouble for not working harder at it, but oh well. I'll just say I'm working on it. They might not even notice anyway.

Zhaun, "Look at all these holes, your dairy is not up to acceptable standards!"

Me, "Your department isn't acceptable either."

Zhaun, "Who writes the schedule? Oh, we have grand opening next week, yeah, I think you'll love your schedule next week. Should have waited till after I wrote it. Was it worth it?"

Me, "Almost! :D"

My cooler still stank of floor fumes. But it went away later in the day. Maybe it only smells first thing when you come in because the door's been shut all night and when you have the door open and closed throughout the day it eventually goes away. Cause it did take a few hours.
