I made this today. I used this pie crust recipe. This was the first time I made a lattice top. It was a lot easier than I would have thought. A little time consuming, but really fun. I very much enjoyed doing it. I brushed the top with an egg yolk that had powdered sugar in it. So it's not actually very burnt. And the bubbling cherries cooled down and stopped bubbling. I used two cans of Kroger extra cherry pie filling.
Right now Victor's in the other room making feziccini (sp?) spaghetti, and he has Moonwalker on. We were watching it some earlier when Victor was washing some dishes, but we turned it off to do other things and now he's finishing it.
