New Dairy

The floors in my cooler are now a sort of gray with black speckles. They needed to put another coat on so I had nothing to do for a while. I found stuff though, I did some shelf reviews, faced the yogurt. And then I had to inventory pizza cause of Nestle going to pay-per-scan he had to do a buy-back.

Then grocery truck was in but Zhaun offloaded him cause they said my cooler was ready to be put back together. I had Dan, dairy manager from the other store, over to help. Which was nice. We got everything in without issue. Then we were going to set up my new yogurt sliders but the remodel people told us since everything is going to case fill that we can't use them. Odd. We have seven cases of the things and they can afford to throw that away but they can't afford to buy Bonnie a decent printer or fix the back doors? We're not throwing them away though, we're putting them up stairs.

I don't think I said, but on Friday I told Julie that the yogurt/egg case was running a little cold, down around 30, I asked if this was normal. She said yes, that the meat cases run at 30. I was dubious and so told her I was finding ice on some of the yogurt. She said it was fine. Today we found that I lost almost the entire back row of eggs because of frost. They had condensation on them and were cracked and starting to turn weird colors. They just looked icky and were kinda sticky, I couldn't just wipe them off. So they were going to fix it.

We ran out of dozen eggs. Odd. We seem to have been very busy on Saturday. I'm out of some of my yogurt, things I normally sett 5-7 a day on and I sold 28-30 on Saturday.

They're resetting the entire dairy. I don't know what the schematic people were thinking but it's just awful. The way they've got the milk is insane. And the cottage cheese and sour cream. It's stupid. They said I can rearrange anything I want after corp comes in to look around, but until then it has to be by schematic.

Also, I skipped my break. I didn't have time for one.
