got stuff done yesterday, yay

Yesterday I packed four buckets of fabric and now all my fabric is packed. I also took out the box from the camp oven we got (finally, the cats were having fun playing in it so I felt bad to throw it out right away). I had a crate that had interfacing in it but I packed that (that's what went into one of the four buckets I mentioned) and used the crate for Victor's Intellevision games. It's too big but it's ok. I have another crate that's emptied now too. And I used the one that used to have the Intellevision games to store my hair pretties, like clips, scarves, and barrettes and such. The top of the tv cabinet I was using as a sewing shelf is now almost completely empty. I can't decide if I want to take it apart or leave it. I think I'll leave it whole for now. I need to clean the floor in front of it cause there's still assorted stuff there. Like a lightsaber I never finished, pouches, a backpack with blue/gray fabric and assorted things I couldn't bear to part with that might prove useful someday like shoulder pads and bra underwires and stuff.

I don't know if I'll get to cleaning up that area or not, though, because the Daily Dare game is Hannah and the Kreludar caves. They want 25,000 and my high score is 10,500-something. But I figured out what my problem with that game is. My computer can't play better quality games without a fan blowing on it (the side of my computer is open and I have a fan aimed at whatever it is I need it aimed at) or it lags really bad. That 10,500 score was as far as I got before I gave up due to lag. So hopefully my next run will be better. I'm going to go try that now. And if I get the score fairly easily and have time I'll go get some cleaning done.
*Edit:* Just got done with that game. I had almost 26,000 so I didn't take the level I was on too seriously and burned up 4 lives only to discover it had taken away points for not finishing the level or something I guess and I only had 24,955. Augh! So I have to do that again! I'll do it tonight after I get home, I don't have time right now. I want to research this recipe so I can make something nummy tomorrow.

btw, just cause it's amusing enough to post in both journals I'll say it here too. Yesterday while doing yogurt two young women were looking at the yogurt and went, "10/6.00? That's like 75 cents!"
