New Journal

All my work related posts will now go to this new journal. This one here will be for everything else. In an attempt to clean it up here a bit. I will still post things that should be common sense to help everyone become a better person.

Also, might I suggest my husband's blog, which he named the same name as mine and I'm still unsure about that. But anyway, I think it's best to read an entire post first before you start clicking his links.

I haven't done a lot today. I think I fell asleep in the bath cause I was in there about two hours. Then I sat at my computer doing mindless nothings because we were going to be leaving soon and we'd be getting taco bell. That was at 11:30. Finally around 3:00 Victor was ready to go. By then I was starving. I decided to stay home. I started to feel sick while he was gone from hunger. The last thing I'd really eaten was a bowl of cereal at 7:15. He didn't get home until 4:15. I still feel kinda sick and like I'm still hungry but I know I'm not really hungry. But basically today's been ruined and I achieved nothing. Bonecrusher threw up on the sheets I'd just washed so I have to wash them again already. Yay.

Also, I spent 20 minutes on the exercise bike at the prompting of Victor. The seat hurt my butt but it'll get used to it. It was surprisingly tiring.

Neopets is having it's Daily Dare event. There are two characters, AAA and Abigale, and you have to beat one of their scores on a game to get a prize. AAA has higher scores than Abigale so that even people who are bad at a game can get a prize. In order to get the big trophy you have to beat AAA every day. Unfortunately that meant I had to beat AAA's score today to win some lousy background. I really wanted the book Abigale was offering as a prize. But I want the super trophy more than I want the book. The book was going for 5,000 on the shops earlier and I can't seem to win any auctions. On the auctions it's going for a few hundred. I'll probably end up throwing the background I won into my shop sometime or other. It's kinda neat I guess so I might keep it for a time. At least until the end of the event, cause I figure that's when it'll be worth the most. Cause until the end of the event you can still win the background, but after that you can only buy it from someone else.

The scarf I'm making is coming along slowly. It's a little wompled on the sides but not as bad as before. And I have a broken yarn. So I threaded it in like you do at the end of a project and took up the broken and and am waving it in the other direction. I'm sure it'll be mostly hidden.

I read some more of Two Towers. So far it's not nearly as boring as the first book was. This one has some substance to it and isn't just a geography lesson disguised as a story. I am especially enjoying Aragorn's angsting.
