packing

I packed a lot today. I got the box with the vhses and the ddr pad taped up, I also put in a shirt that needs fixing.

In the box with the Christmas village I put an A-Wing, a Mach 5 model, Victor's fox garden statue thingies (you know, the knick-knacks you find in the garden and patio furniture section), Vidia, his Tron disc, the Atari plug-n-play, and I think that's about it.

In another box I packed almost all our nintendo products. It was amazing. It was like they were meant to be packed this way. Every piece fit like a puzzle. The wii games packed in rows with just enough of a square left over to stick the gamecube in, the gamecube games packed on top of the wii games with the wii next to them, the snes/nes twin packed on top of the wii, all the contollers and cords packed in around these.

Then in another box I put various Star Wars stuff and Indiana Jones stuff.

Since we had room on the coffee table from where the Wii was Victor brought out his Amiga and put it out there.

I played more Sims Medieval today. I crocheted while waiting for things to happen. I'm still working on that scarf. The game is lots of fun. So far I have a Monarch, a Knight, and a Bard. Basically it's kinda like the console version of Sims. You get the basics of Sims where you get to decorate a house, have social interactions, you throw the same fits over things, and speak in Simlish. You control different Sims based on which quests you're on. I have yet to partake in a 2-person quest (I was going to but I don't have a Wizard yet!), so I don't know how that works. 1 person quests are fun so far. When making the Bard I had a perfect face going and then the game did something weird when I was selecting her eye color. I chose green but it wouldn't change so I hit the customize button and went to the color wheel. The color wouldn't drag but I could click anywhere and it would go to the color. I couldn't hit cancel or accept cause that would simply drag the pointer to the edge of the circle in the direction I had clicked. I ended up hitting ctrl-alt-del to end the game and restart. I still don't think my Bard is as good looking as she was, but oh, well.

It's time for bed now, so off I go. Today was a good day.
