braided egg bread

 This is the egg bread I said I'd make. Yes, there is a bit of cooked egg on top. That's because I forgot to paint the top with egg before I put it in the oven and only remembered to do it 15 minutes before it came out of the oven so I was trying to do it quick and I guess I glopped it on too thick in places. Oh, well.It was fine. Here's the recipe I use. About the only things different I do are: I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I use 3 eggs and 1 egg yolk. And I use 1/3 cup sugar instead of a tablespoon. I never remember to buy poppy seeds or I'd try that too. I braided it using this video tutorial. Since I guess I'd made my rolls too long or something and my bread came out really long I rolled it up into a cinnamon roll shape. Next time I'll try to make it shorter. It was nummy, as always. I'm using yeast that expired in December, but it's been in the freezer so it seems to be working just fine.

Neopet's Neggstravaganza has started. I did the pre-setup stuff and got my prizes from that. I can't do those kinds of quests easily. I had to look it up in guides. I pride myself that now that the actual Negg Hunt is on I'm doing it all by myself mostly. The first one I figured out was in the Haunted Woods. From the hint I thought I had to do Brain Tree and Esaphogar quests, so I did. And nothing. So I looked it up and turns out the Negg was somewhere in the Haunted Woods and I didn't actually have to do any quests. Oops. Oh, well. Yesterdays was easy, I got that on my own, it was in the Lost Desert. Today's was clever. I figured out it was at the NC Mall, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Turns out it's an item that's mixed in with all the other items for sale and the price is "Free". lol Yes, this is something I'll have to do every day but I don't care, I'm having fun and they're short and easy find-its. 

I'm not sure where I left off on talking about packing, so I might have already said that I packed the rest of my Star Wars books (except Force Heretic's 2 and 3 cause they're next for me to read) and then started cramming in various other books until it was full.

I also have a nearly-full box of the rest of mine and Victor's computer games, like my Sims 3 and it's packs and expansions (all except Outdoor Living cause I need that one to play), my other Sim games like Mania, City 2000, Sims 1 Double Deluxe. Star Wars Galaxies. And etc. I kept out KOTOR2 cause I might want to play that one. Considering there's a book about Revan coming out later this year I kinda want KOTOR1 on pc now too. Anyway, I also put my SW Lego Visual Dictionary in there. Some various Sega Genesis games, which is odd that we have them since I don't think either of us has ever had a Genesis. And various other little games. It's not full yet, though.

And I started another box for the various loose Star Wars stuff I have laying around the house.
