green grass

For all the blizzard-like snow yesterday it sure seems like it's back to spring again. I noticed today just how green our grass is.

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night to find Victor was having a nerd thing going fixing stuff on his laptop and just messing around and doing stuff to make various games work. He didn't quite know when he'd be going to bed. He hasn't done this in a long time, not since we were first together. I'm just glad he wasn't still awake when I got up to go to work, lol. But my being awake with him reminded him to eat and so he put in some chicken patties. I wish I was like that. If I sit at my computer for a time I find myself grazing. If Victor's at his computer he might not eat for 3/4 the day.

Anyway, I sat up with him for a while and cuddled against him on the couch. After a time I said I wasn't sure if I wanted to eat or not. So he said he knew I'd  be sitting up with him cause he knows me so he'd put in a patty just for me. :) He's so sweet! So we cuddled and ate the chicken patties and he worked on his stuff some more and I finally went back to bed after I let my food settle for a bit.

And it's moments like that, last night, random food and cuddling in the middle of the night while he's being all dorky and nerdy are what get me through work days like today.
