lamp

Yesterday we bought three of these lamps for our new house. Isn't it pretty?

Here is the light we got for the new kitchen since I think an overhead in the kitchen might be easier than a lamp.

Here's my main box corner.

I've spent some time today going through a cd I have of pictures I'd taken ages ago. Most of them are from 2006 as far as I can tell. I found one from what I guess was 1998 and one that could be either 98 or 99 but I'm going to guess at 99. It's just kinda weird to see myself as an 11-year-old and go, "Wow, Victor was 21 at that point." And think what all I was doing at that time and what he was doing and we were in such different worlds. But, like he likes to say, we may be ten years apart but he wasn't dating me when I was 12!

So I decided to compare how I used to look to how I look now but I had to go back almost a year to find a picture of my face. Mostly I'm taking pictures of the back of my head. Since I was taking pictures of our new lamp and stuff anyway I took some pictures of myself and I hated all of them and promptly deleted them. I'm just not photogenic at all. In fact most pictures of me are just ugly. The one from when I was 11 is kinda cute but otherwise I'm just super ugly in almost all my pictures. I know it's weird to hear someone say this but the picture on my driver's license is in the top three best pictures of me from the last ten years. It's kinda sad though, because some day my future kids will be looking through albums wondering why there's only pictures of Victor and the cats and none of me. Victor's just not into taking pictures as much as me and I'm really ugly in pictures anyway.

Well anyway, I want to make baked ziti today. mmm!

Victor wants to watch Deathly Hallows part 1 with dinner today. And that's fine, I should enjoy that. I saw the trailer for part 2 today. WARNING DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILER FOR DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE BOOKS! I can not believe they put one of THE biggest spoilers of the ENTIRE book right there in the trailer. It's about as bad as when they released the soundtrack for TPM before it hit theaters and one of the tracks was titled "Qui-Gon's Noble End". The spoiler in the trailer is on the same level as that, possibly even worse cause people probably could have guessed Qui-Gon would die. Otherwise the trailer was delightful and I can't wait to watch the movie.
