what spring?

Just another beautiful spring day up here in Montana. This is what I awoke to. Not surprising considering how hard it was coming down yesterday.

I tried the White Reese's Eggs. They're ok, I guess, kinda bland. They'd be good for if you wanted to focus mainly on the peanut butter.

I picked up Deathly Hallows yesterday. I saw packs of 1-7 that I kinda wanted but I had to keep reminding myself that I'm waiting till after 7 part 2 comes out. It's pointless to buy a pack now when it's not even complete.

Been seeing and hearing of people I haven't seen or heard from in a long time. First I saw Kyle at Super 1 then one of the drivers told me he'd seen Greg (old dairy manager) at the Great Falls store, then yesterday I saw Angie. Angie used to be my friend when I was a bagger. I didn't speak to her, cause what would I say? But I'm pretty sure the baby in the cart was hers (her mom was there too). I guess it makes sense, she is about my age. Jill, her older sister, has been married (last I knew) for 5 years therabouts, I think. I liked her too, because she was into HP, LOTR, and SW, and stuff. But Angie was more reserved so we friendlier than me and Jill.

I have ambitious plans for today. I want to make some braided egg bread this morning. And then for dinner I intend on pizza. And while we eat the pizza we'll watch the new Tron cause I haven't seen it since the theater. Yesterday we also got some ChocoVine, which is the only wine I've ever drank. It's chocolate red wine. I first saw it at work while doing the vendor shelf review a month or so ago and we got it to try. We also carry a white chocolate but I'm not going to try that. For me, we mix it 1 part wine with 3 parts chocolate milk. We got it yesterday cause it was on sale, but otherwise we generally aren't buying it unless it's for our anniversary or christmas or something, I think. But I really like it. I tried to mix it myself yesterday and I dunno, I either messed it up or I just wasn't in the mood because I had to make myself finish it. I wasn't going to waste it but Victor didn't want the rest. I think the setting has to be right, like a good meal or a movie or cuddling on the couch or something. Just sitting at our desks doing stuff on the computer wasn't really worth it.

My foot's doing ok, still tender, still achy. I should try to stay off it today since it'll be the only time it really has to get some good healing in. Seeing as I work 6 days this week and it being the week before Easter. No one at work knows because I don't feel it's a bad enough injury to spread it around. I would kinda like to shove it in bakery's face. They're all, "I can't come get one pallet of freight and pull it across the store because my leg hurts." Yeah, well, I'm offloading two trucks a day three times a week with a broken foot, how do you think it feels to hear you make your lame excuses? At least Gary has a real excuse, it was his first day back yesterday and he's on light duty, obviously. I still don't know how much of his thumb he cut off. It can't be much cause the bandage really isn't very small. His back was turned so I got to get in a good stare. I should ask Wanda sometime.
