mental beating

I finished reading TT last week (or early this week?) and am now on ROTK. I gather I'm about 20 pages in or so. For those who've read the books Beregond just sent Pippin off to find his son. I don't want to get too far into it before watching the TT movie so I did some of that this morning. I got about 2 hours in and it was back to the boring tree stuff so I shut it off. I have stuff to do. I'll finish watching it some other time.

As for the books, I don't know, I think they're growing on me. Victor compares it to your mind accepting the beating and getting used to it. I simply think the books get better as you go. Like in the first book a lot of it's filler, but by the third book it's like, "Ok, here's Gondor, they have traditions and history and stuff but we don't have time for all that".

I think I might be getting sick. Throat felt weird yesterday and it still does today and I've been coughing a lot today. I will not get sick. I have an 8-day work week coming up. I took a vitamin C earlier so I'll take another after I post this.

Then I guess I'll start loading up the truck. I'm not entirely sure how we want to do this. Either bring the camper over here and load it up or take the truck over there with stuff in it and transfer it to the camper. I know the plywood won't fit in Victor's truck so that will have to go in the camper. So we will be putting some boxes in the truck. I dunno. I guess I'll load up the truck and we'll just transfer stuff so we don't have to bring the camper over here.
