tower defense

Today's game was Neopian Battlefield Legends. A tower defense game. They wanted 90,000 and my high score was 56. -_- However, I was not dismayed. I went, "Wait, a tower defense game and I only have 56 as a high score? I must have decided this game takes too long and quit cause I'm not that bad at these games." So I had a few false starts, one or two losses, to get the hang of this particular version and then proceeded to win with 124,304, which is less than a thousand points away from this month's world record high score. (they reset every month) I've only done that with one other game, ever, and that was Magax Defender (basically like normal Defender) where I had less than a hundred points away from the high score. So I'm happy. And I believe I'll play again sometime cause that was really fun. It took a little over a half hour but that's ok. I believe come April 1st I'll have another go because that's when the scores will be reset and I should get a trophy. I'd get the trophy for Magax Defender as well, but it takes two hours to get the high score in that.

I should eat something before work but I am just not hungry for lunch yet. It's only 8:40! I just had breakfast an hour and a half ago. But if I don't eat something I'll be hungry again in a few hours. Same problem I have on 11-7 days except it's an hour earlier (Sundays are my 10-6 days). I'll just have a reese's egg or some jelly beans or something.

I made my decision on what to do about Dustin's vacation. I looked at the calendar and he's going on vacation not even a week after I was going to quit. So I'll tell Zhaun in early May like I'd planned, and tell him I was originally going to quit May 28th. I'll tell him we're not paying an extra month's rent because Dustin wants a vacation, but that I'll see if my sister or someone will let me sleep at their house for another two weeks. (He wants June 2-10.) I mean, I might as well. If he was going on vacation in July I wouldn't care, but not even a week after I was planning to quit. I'd feel guilty. And it's only two more weeks, that's two more paychecks. Plus they can't get mad at me for not working fast and hard enough to make up for Dustin being gone cause they'll have my last day hanging over them. It won't change when we move, we'll still aim for having our stuff out by May 28th and all and Victor can go ahead and go up and get started on the foundation of the house and stuff. At least that's how I'm planning so far, I still need to finish talking about it with Victor. Last I told him I was planning to still try to quit by May 28th unless they couldn't find anyone to cover Dustin's vacation. But, really, it's just two more weeks. We'll see.
